Our practice consists of a team of medical professionals including physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, therapists, dieticians, and social workers dedicated to delivering radiation therapy to exceptionally high standards in the course of treating your cancer or condition. Our doctors received their training at prestigious training programs and are faculty at Baylor College of Medicine. They regularly attend national conferences to keep abreast of the latest clinical trails and radiation techniques.
Initial consultations allow plenty of time for you to have your questions answered and to get to know your physician. The doctors review treatment options and provide outcomes and quality of life information for the various treatment options. We will spend time with you each week during treatment to see how you are doing with the daily treatment. Your physician will be available to you to answer questions throughout your treatment course; a member of the group is always on call after hours to answer any concerns that may arise.
Our doctors attend numerous a multidisciplinary conferences weekly, where a team of cancer experts can weigh in on treatment options and approaches.
Ongoing Research Studies
The clinic previously participated in a phase III randomized trial for stage I lung cancer in operable patients. This study in conjunction with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and compares lobectomy and Cyberknife Radiosurgery.
The clinic currently participates in a national registry for the use of Cyberknife in five treatments for early and intermediate risk prostate cancer.
